Welcome Back to Boneheads & Brainiacs!

This is the new home of my author page, currently featuring Boneheads & Brainiacs: Heroes and Scoundrels of the Nobel Prize in Medicine.

When the book was released on March 10, 2020, it coincided with the country shutting down to hide from a virus.

I promptly adapted with virtual author events, some hosted by bookstores and many hosted by me in order to feature independent booksellers who have been severely hit by the turn of events.

I also adapted by shifting my focus of blog topics to all things covid. As my followers know, my message is about Informed Consent, presenting only factual information to educate the savvy health care consumer.

Eventually my blog was hacked and deactivated, a variation of the fate of many other sites speaking up on covid.

Banned, hacked, or threatened posts have included those by by the likes of Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, MD, PhD, from the Stanford University School of Medicine in California, best selling author Joseph Mercola, DO, and Dr. Harvey Risch, a medical doctor and professor of epidemiology at the Yale School of Public Health, to mention but a few.

At least I know I am in good company!

Which brings me back to Boneheads & Brainiacs.

My purpose in writing the book was to educate and entertain, but also to encourage development of a healthy skepticism for all things high and mighty that we hear from the hallowed halls of medicine.

The topic is more pertinent now than ever before. Blogs on medical topics and healthcare information will be hosted on a separate site, to be determined.

This site will be dedicated to information about the books. I appreciate your support, your purchase of my book, your book reviews, and telling others about it.

I am excited to report that I have completed the manuscript for Volume II of B&B, with a release date set for March 2022. Watch this blog site for fascinating excerpts from the new book.

Thank you for your support,

Moira Dolan, MD
